My charger is not as described by many of the better reviews. No right angle plug, and no led light on the body. I can't really put any fault on them for that though, this is one of the few cases where the item IS more like what's in the picture...the picture is just worse than what some people got.

The reason for my low review though, is the fact that this item is just a piece of crap. It stopped working within days after i got it, and now only intermittently charges my laptop, or has to be held tight at a specific angle to work. Also, the length is EXTREMELY SHORT. Both the cord from the adapter body to the laptop, and the cord that goes from the wall to the body. I actually had to swap the cord part with my old OEM's cord to make it remotely useable.

Honestly, it's so annoyingly poor quality, that I'm not even going to take advantage of the 12 month warranty. I'm sure it would involve some back and forth arguing with the company, shipping costs at my expense, and then all I get is another piece of crap that breaks in a few days so I can start the process all over again. So basically even 'Free' is paying too much for this thing. I'll just end up tossing it, and forking out the money for a quality product next time... my fault for being cheap.

Unfortunately it's almost impossible to find a good adapter between hp OEM and the way amazon works... you can go super cheap and definitely get a piece of crap, or super expensive with a genuine HP replacement, and get something of about the same quality (read all the 1 star reviews of the OEM adapter that came with the dv9000 on HPs site!). Then here on amazon you have a bunch of third party product listings which is nice, except each one has a bunch of people selling different products all under the description of a single product. If you are really lucky, the stars align, and you actually get something quality. It happened to me once, I'll always cherish that memory......

They should really add the ability to select the seller you got it from when you leave a review, so people can sort/organize reviews by rating AND seller. That would get some of these guys to clean up their act real quick, or watch that business dry up!
