A couple of other reviewers have claimed deterioration but the disks work fine for me over 1 year-old. A newer 15-pk of Memorex 25 Gb disks that I bought is thinner, more like a standard DVD. The original year-old pack, the disks were unusually thick and colored blue on the label side. The newer Memorex have a more sedate gray color on the label side.
